A Message from the President

The National Institutes for Cultural Heritage (NICH) supports the day-to-day operations of national museums and research institutes that study cultural properties. Our organization is committed to fostering a deeper and more complete understanding of Japanese culture and acts as an advocate to communicate the value and artistry of cultural works both at home and abroad. Some of our main missions are the effective conservation of fragile cultural works and contributing to cultural tourism through the innovative use of cultural resources. We also provide educational spaces equipped with the latest technologies to help visitors discover our country’s history, traditions, and culture.
Our organization is dedicated to fulfilling its missions, and your support can help bring us one step closer to our goals. Please consider making a donation today.
